Police in Minnesota can launch tracking device from their vehicles onto stolen cars

Minnesota police and sheriff’s deputies have a new way of catching suspected car thieves without having to chase them. Four divisions in the Twin Cities area are developing a unique surveillance device. CBS News Minnesota’s Jeff Wagner reports.
