In a late-night video address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned Russia’s continued shelling of Mariupol, calling it “a terror that will be remembered for centuries to come.”
For more than two weeks, the city has seen frequent Russian attacks that have cut off electricity, gas, running water and other supplies.
On Wednesday a bomb fell on a theater where hundreds of people had taken refuge.
