CPR training offered to new Cardiff Uni students

CPR training will be offered to all Cardiff University students in a bid to save more lives.

Medical students are teaching their fellow students in a scheme that could be implemented in other universities.

Only one in 20 people in Wales survive cardiac arrest, one of the worst rates in Europe.

If all universities in Wales offered CPR training, up to 130,000 people would learn skills that could save someone’s life.
