Former Argentina international Federico Martin Aramburu was reportedly shot dead in France early on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 42-year-old, who was capped 22 times, played at the 2007 World Cup in France and <\/span>scored a try against the hosts<\/span> to help Argentina finish third.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to <\/span>L’Equipe<\/span>external link<\/title><\/path><\/svg><\/span>Aramburu was killed in a drive-by shooting in Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n

The French newspaper said he had been involved in a morning argument in a bar with a group of people who then returned in a car and shot him.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Paris prosecutor’s office has opened a murder investigation and said the suspects have not yet been found. <\/span><\/p>\n

Aramburu was with French clubs Perpignan, Biarritz and Dax before joining the Glasgow Warriors in 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n

They added: “The embodiment of a true warrior and much loved by all, the thoughts of everyone past and present at the club are with his family at this immensely difficult time.”<\/span><\/p>\n
