West Ham’s Kurt Zouma and his brother Yoan have been charged by the RSPCA under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 for their part in filming Kurt kicking a cat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yoan of Dagenham & Redbridge, 23, <\/span>filmed 27 year old Kurt<\/span> kicking and slapping one of his pets.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the video surfaced, the RSPCA <\/span>eliminated two cats<\/span> from Kurt’s house and began contacting Essex Police about the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kurt continued to play for West Ham despite the controversy.<\/span><\/p>\n

An RSPCA spokesperson said: “After a full and thorough investigation, we have started the prosecution process against Kurt Zouma and Yoan Zouma under the Animal Welfare Act. <\/span><\/p>\n

“The two cats continue to be in the care of the RSPCA. We will be in a position to release more information once the court date is confirmed.”<\/span><\/p>\n
