The British television regulator, Ofcom, has revoked the broadcasting license of the Russian state television channel RT (Russia Today).
Ofcom said that RT’s parent body, ANO TV Novosti, was “not fit and proper to hold a UK broadcast license” and revoked its license with immediate effect.
